Horror Car in Delhi: Cops claim that two more people were involved, suspects seen on CCTV.

The men are Ashutosh, the owner of the car, and Ankush, the brother of one of the accused, the police said today, asserting that they would be arrested soon.

Delhi, India:

Two new suspects have emerged in a car crash that killed a 20-year-old woman after being pulled 13 kilometres under her car in Delhi early in the New Year.

Police today said the men were Ashutosh, who owns the car, and Ankush, the brother of one of the suspects.

In addition to the five men currently in custody, two of his others were involved. We have scientific evidence. "They tried to cover up those who committed heinous crimes," senior police officer Sagarpreet Hooda said.

Krishan, Mithun, Deepak Khanna, Manoj Mittal, Amit Khanna and others were arrested hours after the incident.

Investigations revealed that the car was actually driven by Amit Khanna instead of Deepak Khanna as previously thought.

Hooda explained that Amit does not have a driver's license.

"We supported or refuted the defendant's account. Based on CCTV footage, we were able to rebut the defendant's testimony," he said, adding that there was no connection between the defendant and the victim. “The defendants cooperated to cover up the crime. They knew that Anjali’s body had been taken away. We are trying to gather evidence.

She was sitting on her scooter with her friend Nidhi just after 2am when her car crashed into Anjali Singh. Ms Anjali's leg got caught in one of her wheels and her car pulled her away. Passengers could see her arms under her wheels, but the car continued to move forward despite her screams. The man drove for over an hour before the body fell.

Security footage shows the man returned his car to his owner Ashutosh about two hours later and fled in an auto-rickshaw.

According to Rohini's CCTV footage of him, the man is seen leaving in a waiting auto-rickshaw at 4:33 am.

An autopsy report reveals that Anjali suffered grievous injuries and died. She suffered at least her 40 injuries. Her back exposed her ribs, her skull base was fractured, and she was "devoid of brain matter." She injured her lower leg, spine and head.

Huda was also questioned about police's alleged slow response to reports of a car towing a dead body. In order to improve the process, an internal investigation is conducted to determine if it is a human error issue or a process issue. The Metropolitan Police Department said, "We will respond after the investigation report is made public."
